#126 – After 12 Years In Prison, RAPPER Spade-O Builds TRUCKING Company!

Early life:

Trucking podcast From a place like Philadelphia, where poverty and crime run rampant, Spade-O was one of the most well-known rappers in the mid-1980s. By 18, he had already grown to love hip-hop. His flattery had won over enough of a following to qualify as a successful rapper.

Spade-O had fallen back into the streets and had served 12 years in prison, which he later claimed changed his life. His mindset was now determined to get a fresh start and positively impact his community.

Interaction with TN’H:

Spade-O’s interactions with TN’H trucking podcast have been as inspiring as they are stupefying. He told us how he kept himself busy in prison and kept his mind occupied by reading books. Spade-O could tell you some stories about what he’s learned in the past; however, for now, he’s focused on staying disciplined and sticking to his principles.

Just like his rapping career, Spade-O has made a success of his trucking career. Not long after he earned his CDL, he started driving trucks, and he shared his experiences as an OTR driver in the interview.

Spade-O remembered the early days when he settled down in the trucking industry. He shared the types of freights he delivered and how he began his trucking business.

After working for OTR and another trucking company, Spade-O entered the trucking business on his own in 2019. He established A&B Global Transport. In an interview, he talks about how he started his own company and how he’s scaling up the business. He also speaks about his vision in the industry.

When Spade-O was asked about his feelings toward trucking, he said, “It’s a pain, but if you put in the effort and make the sacrifices needed, it’s a good life.”

Final thought:

As Spade-O said during his final thought of the show, “2022 is about no silence; don’t put ceilings on what you can be; don’t let anyone define your greatness. Don’t worry about whatever people think—at the end of the day, this year is about getting into it, and we don’t care if they know we got it or not.”
