Early Life:

Bennii, whose nickname is “Hot Shot Bennii,” owns 1 and 1 Transport. His story is inspired by his own experiences as an entrepreneur and reflects upon the challenges of starting a business in today’s economy. He was raised in North Carolina, where he completed high school. Bennii has never been to college, but he is a rising star and second-generation entrepreneur after taking his father’s blueprint for business success.

However, Bennii already worked as an order selector in a warehouse before entering the trucking industry. Like his father, Bennii wanted to work for himself rather than someone else. Benni, having decided to quit his job and take a risk, moved with his father into a business venture dealing with goods transportation. His father had worked as a manager in a trucking company before starting his own business.

Bennii’s father started the company 1 and 1 Transport. Bennii wanted to do a semi-truck first, but maintenance and operation costs prevented him from doing so. The father and son team known as the hot squad has been hitting the road, teaching people how to survive and thrive within the trucking industry via their social media channels. Bennii’s self-produced day-in-the-life reality content has garnered over 25 million views across platforms, making him one of the most recognized faces in hot shot trucking.

In an interview with Truck N’ Hustle, Bennii shares how he overcame his depression by joining the business with his father. He says he hadn’t been doing anything in the company for a year until he realized it was time to step up, and Benni followed behind in his footsteps.
